Dear Parents and Carers,
On Friday 27th March the children in Preschool, Reception and Years 1 and 2 will be taking part in a small Easter Bonnet Parade on the KS1 playground, at the end of the day (2.50pm). Parents and carers are welcome to come and watch the children as they walk round, showing off their Easter creations. There may also be a rendition of an Easter song or two!
Please could we ask that you help your child at home with their Easter bonnets. They do not have to be over-the-top in any way shape or form. There are a number of Easter Bonnet kits in the shops and supermarkets which provide plenty of Easter -themed crafts, and often don't cost the earth.
Please send in your child's Easter Bonnet on the morning of Friday 27th March, ready for the parade in the afternoon.
Prior to the Parade, there will be an Easter themed workshop for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes only (Preschool will not take part in the workshop as they held a Christmas workshop in the Autumn term).
The workshop will start at 1.45pm. Please only 1 parent or guardian to attend the workshop. Do not worry if a grown up is unable to attend the workshop as the staff will be able to guide the children through their craft activities.
Many thanks
Mrs C. Pryde (EYFS/KS1 Phase Leader)
