Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our history curriculum this term and to keep costs low, we are excited to let you know that we will be having a special Victorian Seaside Day at school on:
Thursday 9th July
We are asking for £10 per child to cover the costs of the day.
The children have been learning about how families visited the seaside during Victorian times, and we will be bringing history to life with a fun-filled themed day in school. During the day, the children will enjoy a variety of activities including:
- A traditional Punch and Judy show
- An ice cream van visit
- Seaside games and activities
- Victorian-themed crafts and learning
- Music and fun inspired by the seaside
We are also very lucky that the catering team will be providing a special sea-side themed lunch that day.
We would like to invite the children to come dressed in seaside-themed clothes – Weather and school appropriate. Please also ensure they wear suitable footwear and bring a coat if needed.
We are very much looking forward to a fantastic day of learning and fun as we step back in time to experience the Victorian seaside together.
