Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 6 will be taking part in and performing at the BCDH Dance Festival at Walsall Arena on Wednesday 10th June.

We are one of a small number of schools that has been invited to take part in the festival and this is an excellent opportunity for the children to prepare for the KS3 curriculum.

Throughout the day, we will get the chance to rehearse with professional dancers and will also perform a routine that the children have been choreographing and rehearsing in school.

Please drop your child off at 8:00am, as we will be leaving school at 8:15am via coach and will be returning at 3:45pm. Children will then be released from the classroom, therefore please collect them from the usual place at 3:45pm.

Children will need to bring drinks, a snack and a packed lunch. We have also been asked by the venue to ensure that no fizzy drinks are bought by the children.

The cost for this trip is £18.50 towards the transport and as this is an off-site activity, please give consent on Arbor, under trips as soon as possible to ensure we are complying with local authority guidance.

Ticket will be available for parents if you would like to attend the event and we will forward the link as soon as they are released.
