On Thursday 27th February, as part of our PSHE curriculum, Years 5 and 6 will be visiting Safeside.
Safeside is a venue run by West Midlands Fire Service and offers the children a range of experiences to help them develop their understanding of how to stay safe in the real world. Throughout the day, children will learn about how to deal with an emergency and how and when is appropriate to contact emergency services.
The cost for the trip will be £16.00, which includes coach travel to and from the venue and entrance into Safeside. This can be paid on School Money.
Children will need to bring a packed lunch, a drink and snack for their break. Children will need to wear school uniform and bring a suitable coat.
We will be leaving school at approximately 9:00am and will return to school by approximately 3:15pm, therefore drop off and collection will be as normal.
