Mrs Anna Stanley - Co-opted Governor

I was elected as a Parent Governor in September 2016 and served for four years before being recruited as a co-opted governor for a further term. I have an excellent attendance record at meetings and have attended various training sessions over the past few years to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to serve as a school governor.

I am a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS in Walsall. My role involves visiting numerous schools and providing support and therapy for children with speech, language and communication needs, working with school staff to ensure positive outcomes for the children I support. I have worked with children with special educational needs for many years and will use my experience and knowledge to support Maidensbridge in this, as well as other areas.

I currently have one child at Maidensbridge, and an older child now at secondary school. I am passionate about supporting this school and hope that the skills and experience I bring will be beneficial in shaping our children's education.
